There is a corner where surrender meets acceptance. Splish Street is where I stopped asking my expression to stay inside the lines.

Purity pink. Royal green. A white puddle marking the place where I let go. I wanted to be witnessed in my freedom—in love, in life, in me.

To let what was inside reach the surface without cleaning up every sign of how it got there.

I am learning to be okay getting on everybody. Leaving a little color on whoever comes close. Allowing my voice to travel beyond the place I first gave it permission to exist.

I have spent enough time lowering the volume of a story I had to live at full length.
